The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday condemned "in the strongest terms" the Israeli raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the northern Occupied West Bank.

Iran PressAfrica: The ministry denounced in a statement Israeli regimes's excessive use of force against Palestinian civilians, while urging the international community and the United Nations Security Council "to shoulder their responsibilities and enforce relevant resolutions to end the continued Israeli terrorism and protect the Palestinian people."

Israel launched on Monday a large-scale military operation against the refugee camp in the Occupied West Bank city of Jenin, killing at least 10 Palestinians and displacing thousands of others.

The Israeli raid, the largest in the Occupied West Bank since 2002, has drawn widespread condemnation from the Palestinians, Arab states, and many other countries.
