Mohammad Javad Zarif who traveled to Turkey for attending a trilateral meeting on Syria in an interview with Press TV correspondent stressed the fact that Islamic Republic of Iran together with Russia and Turkey despite their differences decided to work on reducing hostilities and humanitarian suffering in Syria as well as working for political solutions which are considered as their common objectives.
Talking about unacceptability of Turkish incursion to the Syrian government unlike the presence of Iran and Russia ,Zarif said that Turkey is concerned about the presence of the US inside Syria which is the main reason of ethnic tensions in the country as well as its neighbors. However, he stressed that the best way for addressing the issue lies in the strengthening of Syrian government and the Syrian army to make sure Syrian territorial integrity ,national unity and political independence are observed and the problems like terrorism are effectively dealt with without violating territorial integrity of another country or its national independence.
