Srinagar (IP)- Security measures have been intensified before the Group of 20 tourism meeting in Srinagar in the center of the Indian-rule Kashmir.

Iran PressAsia: Srinagar will host the G20 tourism meeting from May 22 to 24, hence, special security measures have been established in this area.

Rangers of the National Security Guard and Marine Commandos of the Indian Navy are responsible for maintaining security measures.

It is expected that 200 representatives from the member countries of the Group of 20, international institutions, etc. will participate in the meeting.

This is the first tourism meeting of the Group of 20 in Srinagar, the center of the Jammu and Kashmir region after the then government of India revoked the special status accorded to Indian-administered Kashmir in its constitution on August 5, 2019.

Srinagar is a tourism heaven of Kashmir with good historical and cultural monuments and religious and historical places.
