Iran Press/ Iran News: On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Hamid Sajjadi said: "We hear beautiful slogans about sports free from politics, but we see that in the war between Russia and Ukraine, the Russian sport teams are being boycotted."
Sajjadi noted that millions of dollars from the Iranian football team were seized due to the sanctions imposed on the country, recalling that the West's actions were not based on what the UN Charter was saying.
