Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Health Ministry spokesman in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency stressing on Iran's transparency on releasing the latest information on Coronavirus outbreak in the country said that our policy in raising the social awareness and sensitivity to the issue has an effective impact to eradication of Coronavirus within the shortest period.
Iran's Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour expressed hope that the motto of "we will defeat Corona" would be realized soon".
Jahanpour explained further that Iran's transparency has been aimed at raising the social awareness and sensitivity toward the issue so that the disease could be eradicated and fought within the shortest period.
Health Ministry Spokesman called Iran's statistics on COVID-19 latest updates as the most transparent in the world due to organized health networking which is the advanced network in terms of providing necessary services to register the number of the patients as well as related data and the most advanced syndromic surveillance system, which is unique in the world.
Jahanpour said: “Iran's transparency in releasing the COVID-19 updates and statistics has turned other country's demands to have access to real statistics to the most serious one to the extent that Iran's move has put some of the countries trouble in terms of data analysis.”
The Health Ministry senior official also appreciated China's attitude toward Iran in sending COVID-19 diagnostic testing kits and other humanitarian measures, saying Chinese help would have a positive effect on bilateral relations in the future.
China has provided emergency aid to Iran including coronavirus test kits and medical equipment.
