Iran Press/ Iran News: The leader of the Political Bureau of the Islamic resistance movement Ismail Haniyeh, heading a delegation, arrived in Tehran today (Monday), sat down with the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian.
In today's meeting hosted by Tehran, both sides discussed regional and political developments in Palestine, seeking to strengthen unity among the resistance groups.
Iranian side believes 'unity of resistance will further damage the Zionist enemy and its supporters'.
Referring to the developments in the occupied territories, Ahmadian pointed to "resistance" as "the most effective strategy to end the more than 75 years of occupation of Palestine."
Ahmadian, for his part, pointed to the achievements of the resistance and noted that the whole Islamic world benefits from its achievements stressing the role of the Palestinian resistance in the Saif Al-Quds battle as a turning point, which ended up with strategic achievements for the resistance.
"The main issue of the Islamic world is Palestine," said the Iranian politician, calling for unity among Muslims in the region to damage the Zionist regime and its supporters.
Regarding the efforts of the enemies to create division among the resistance groups, Ahmadian said: The unity and support of the resistance groups to the Islamic Jihad movement in the recent war disappointed the Zionist enemy regarding this conspiracy.
According to the Iranian side, the Zionist regime's disappointment is the result of resistance groups' support from the Islamic Resistance Movement in the recent war.
Ahmadian, in the end, praised the resistance of Hamas against the Zionist enemy and said that the Palestinian resistance, which was once defending itself in Gaza, is now strengthening its presence in the West Bank.
The leader of the Political Bureau of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas appreciated the effective role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in strengthening unity in the Islamic world and among Palestinian resistance groups.
Haniyeh outlined the developments in Palestine and the resistance's plans to preserve and strengthen resistance power against the Zionist regime.
