Iran Press/ Iran News: The historical-archaeological and tourism complex of Tagh-e Bostan, which literally means “arch or the garden”, is a historical site in Kermanshah, western Iran. The arch is carved in stone on a hillside around the 4th century during Sassanid Empire (224–651).
It is located five kilometers from the city of Kermanshah, west of Iran, on the slopes of Tagh-e Bostan mountain.
This collection of motifs is located on the slopes of a mountain and next to a lake known as Tagh Bostan Lake. In
Tagh-e Bostan with its atmosphere used to be a recreation and hunting area for Sassanid kings.
These days, the snowfall has made Tagh-e- Bostan spectacular, and tourists travel there in the winter as well.
