Iran Press/ Middle East: The UAE Supreme Council on Wednesday, November 6 has re-appointed Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as President of the UAE (United Arab Emirates) for another five-year term, Iran Press reported.
“[He] led the country towards the achievement stage that contributed to empowering the Emirati citizens, and the prosperity of the UAE, and its prominence locally and globally,” the Council said in a statement.
Shaikh Khalifa was first elected as President on November 3, 2004, following the death of his father Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. 205/211/219
