The meeting of experts and senior officials of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Forum was held in Tehran under the chairmanship of Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari.

Iran PressIran news:  In this meeting, the senior officials of 32 countries reviewed the latest developments of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Forum. Also they discussed the documents of the meeting of foreign ministers such as the Tehran Declaration, the rules of procedure, and the regulations of the secretariat of this forum for approval in the meeting of the ACD Foreign Ministers.

The meeting of foreign ministers of the member countries will be held tomorrow (Monday) in Tehran, hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran and chaired by Ali Bagheri Keni, acting minister of foreign affairs.

The Asian Cooperation Dialogue Forum was established in June 2002. The Islamic Republic of Iran joined the group of members of this assembly in 2004 and assumed the presidency of this assembly in 2024.

35 Asian countries as members of this forum, including half of the world's population, have about 30% of the world's gross domestic product.
