Tehran (IP) - A member of Iran's Commission of National Security and Foreign Policy called on the Foreign Minister to re-summon and seriously deal with the UK envoy to Iran over his participation in an anti-government gathering in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: Mostafa Kavakebian on Tuesday in the open session of the Parliament called on the Foreign Ministry to re-summon the British envoy and in the case of his explanations were not satisfactory, expel him as a persona non grata. 

He said that the UK Foreign Minister has threatened Iran to impose new sanctions following the Ukrainian plane crash.

"I tell the UK Foreign Minister that your ambassador entered as a photographer a gathering shouting anti-government slogans, while it is out of his mission," he noted. 104/207
