Iran Press/ Iran news: The 9th edition of the International Conference on American Human Rights from the View of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution began in Tehran on Wednesday with the participation of Iranian and foreign guests.
Delivering an opening speech, the Advisor to the Commander of IRGC, Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabbari referred to the recent US-backed Israeli crimes in Gaza and Lebanon, including the assassination of Resistance commanders, noting that the Israeli regime did nothing more than massacring the innocent people.
General Jabbari referred to the Israeli regime's assassination of the leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and called Sayyed Nasrallah an astute leader who turned into the cause of unity among the Lebanese nation.
He said that despite the assassination, the power of Lebanon's Hezbollah has increased.
The Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was assassinated by the Israeli regime during the bombardment of the southern part of Beirut on Friday, September 27, 2024.
The Senior military advisor pointed to Iran's "Operation True Promise II" against the Israeli regime's violation of the Iranian national territorial integrity and sovereignty:
"The legendary image of the Iron Dome was shattered with 90 percent of our missiles hit the points intended by our commanders, which was achieved simultaneously with a cyber operation."
He stated that the Israeli regime and its main supporter the US suffered an intelligence surprise and a significant number of planes were destroyed, which was the result of just a small part of Iran's missile power.
On October 1, 2024, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a missile operation "True Promised II" in response to the Israeli regime's violation of the Iranian national territorial integrity and sovereignty over the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniya in Tehran.
"True Promise I" was carried on 1 April 2024, as an Israeli airstrike destroyed the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, killing 16 people, including a senior Quds Force commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi.
