The secretary of Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, Saeed Reza Ameli has said the Islamic revolution of Iran was 'a revolution of culture'.

Iran Press/Iran news: Secretary of Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, Saeed Reza Ameli said: "We are living in the age of centrality of culture. This means that all changes are related to the change of culture. Even when we talk about economic and political changes, it requires the change of culture".

According to Ameli, centrality of culture means we are observing the individuals' power. Individuals in this time have become much more powerful than the past, so the Islamic revolution was revolution of a large population. It was a social revolution and at the same time was an individual revolution. It means that if all individuals get together, they create social capital", Iran Press reported.

"So our revolution is extensive one, while it is global revolution and this extensive global revolution brought lots of changes in the society, Changes in cultural, economic and political arena. And that is why we are observing a big change in academic human capital and social capital of Iran", Ameli added.

He continued: "If you look at the statistic, all statistic shows that Iran has gained the level of forth country in the world in academic growth and in many index I can say that Iran has lots of achievement and this achievement can be observed in the development of the country, in the roads, in the expansion of universities, expansion of schools and a lots of factors that you are observing".

"But all these changes shows that the people of Iran have brought a new environment in the world and this environment of Islamic values and are the main cause of these changes, and I think this is what we call it reverse globalization, because globalization means the globalization of liberal culture or socialist culture, but globalization of Islamic revolution of Iran is talking about the globalization of Islam and Islamic values and that is why today we have lots of enemies and these enemies are constructing environment that they want to say no to Islam and we are here to say no to non-Islamic values and we are not facing to the people of the world, but we are face with those who are dominating with their values and are trying to impose their values over all the peoples of the world", Ameli reiterated.

Secretary of Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, continued: "I think Islamic values are not only addressing the Muslims, but all peoples of the world".

He the Pointed to a lesson from Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) and said: Imam Ali said to Malik Ashtar that respect the people and you should include your heart with the love of the people of the world, because either they are believers or they are like you in terms of humanity, so you are supposed to respect all people of the world".

He continued: "So Islamic revolution is the revolution of respect to all, not respect to part of the world. But domination policy is respect to one present and reject the other 99 percent of people of the world. We hope that one day we will observe domination of Islamic values all around the world".
