There is plenty of evidence to suggest that the absence of nearly 30 days of Mohamed Bin Sulman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, is due to an incident which is being hidden from the public.
On 21 April 2018 news agencies reported that Saudi forces shoot down ‘toy drone’ near royal palace Vidoes and pictures have been published from the site of the conflict on social media that clearly illustrated the movement of tanks and armored vehicles around the royal palace, and sounds of the exchange of fire with a heavy weapon between the Royal Guard and a group whose identity had not been disclosed yet.
There are reports citing intelligence sources which claim during the clashes, at least two bullets hit the Crown Prince, Mohamed Bin Salman, and it’s possible that he was killed or seriously injured.
Analysts have also noted that Mohammad bin Salman made no media appearance during the April 28 visit of the US State Secretary, Mike Pompeo, to Riyadh -- Pompeo's first foreign trip as the top US diplomat.
It should also be mentioned that during his stay in Riyadh, Saudi media published images of Mike Pompeo’s meetings with King Salman, and Foreign Minister, Adel al-Jubeir.
This is while the state-run media used to publish images of meetings in Riyadh between Mohammad bin Salman and former US secretary of state, Rex Tillerson.
