A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said Monday night that Saudi-led coalition fighter jets have bombarded different parts of Yemen more than thirty times over the past 24 hours.

Iran PressMiddle East: "Saada in northern Yemen has been targeted by the Saudi coalition more than any other province in the country," the army’s spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said.

General Sarie added that Saudi-led aggression coalition forces launched dozens of airstrikes and carried out dozens of ground attacks on several fronts.

“The enemy continues to tighten its aggressive siege, which constitutes collective punishment targeting the Yemeni people in general,” the spokesman added in a statement.

No official reports of Possible casualties and damages have been released yet.

Over 6,000 children have either been killed or sustained serious injuries since 2015, the UN children’s agency said. The humanitarian situation in the country has also been exacerbated by outbreaks of cholera, polio, and measles.

The US-based Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit conflict-research organization, estimates that the war has claimed more than 91,000 lives over the past four and a half years.
