Iran Press/ Middle East: Yasir al-Houri, Secretary General of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen in an interview with Iran Press News Agency in Sana'a noted the importance of the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia and said, it is necessary to have bilateral diplomatic relations between Arab and Islamic countries.
The secretary of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen emphasized that the nature of the Zionist regime and the occupation of the United States have created a gap between Islamic countries, and Sanaa's view of relations between Arab countries and Iran will solve these problems.
Yasir al-Houri also about the effect of the Tehran-Riyadh agreement on the war in Yemen said: We welcome the agreement of other Islamic countries with Iran, but the Saudi war in Yemen is an independent issue.
The Yemeni official emphasized that Yemen was accused of having diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, but now Saudi Arabia has established relations with Iran.
The secretary of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen said that Yemen's relations with Iran are within the framework of good neighborliness and bilateral relations.
Therefore, it should not be said why Yemen has diplomatic relations with Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, or any other country.
Yasir al-Houri stated that there should be such relations with Saudi Arabia, but it was Saudi Arabia that invaded Yemen and caused the strain of relations.
He said that if Saudi Arabia comes to the conclusion that it will have diplomatic relations with any of the Islamic and Arab countries without America or the Zionist regime, Yemen will declare that such relations should establish and basically the relations should be based on neighborliness and common interests.
The Secretary of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen stated that Sana'a supports the Tehran relations and believes that these talks show that Yemen is not dependent on any country and that its relations with Iran are within the framework of Islamic and friendly components.
