Iran Press/ Middle East: Various segments of the population and some officials in Najaf, holding pictures of French President Emmanuel Macron, condemned the French insult to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and shouted: "Labeyk the Messenger of God (Solidarity with the Holy Prophet)."
The demonstrators issued a statement denouncing terrorism as fabricated by the West to tarnish the image of Islam, saying: "Insulting the Prophet of Islam removed the mask from the ugly faces of Western rulers and their false claims about the importance of moral values and religious sanctities."
The French magazine 'Charlie Hebdo' has recently once again published insulting cartoons about the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
French President Emmanuel Macron has said that France will continue to publish insulting cartoons. This insulting act has been widely condemned in the Islamic world, and a campaign has been launched to ban French goods in Islamic countries.
