Iran Press/Middle East: The UN-backed tribunal judge said on Tuesday there is no evidence that either the leadership of the Hezbollah or the Syrian government got involved in the 2005 bombing that killed the former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri.
Sa'ad al-Hariri said he did not expect such a verdict but he is satisfied with the outcome of the trial.
"We accept the court verdict and demand justice, and do not spare the blood (of the victims)," he stressed.
Yet, he noted that the court has not been able to access much of the information about the case due to the current situation in the country.
He also called for Hezbollah's cooperation in forming the government in the country.
Sa'ad al-Hariri made the remarks on Tuesday hours after the final verdict of the special court was issued on the assassination of his father Rafik al-Hariri.
Rafik al-Hariri was assassinated on February 14, 2005. As a result of the incident, the UN launched an investigation into his murder under the title of Special Tribunal for Lebanon, and in the first two reports, mentioned the possible role of the Syrian government in the assassination which now the International Court of Justice dismissed the Syrian role.
