Moscow (IP) - The Grand Mufti and head of the Islamic Religious Department of the Russian Federation, in a message, expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah.

Iran Press/Europe: According to Iranpress news agency from Moscow, Sheikh Ravil Ainuddin wrote in this message: I, on behalf of the Department of Religious Affairs of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the clergy of our country, express my condolences to the people of Lebanon on the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Beirut.

In this message, the Grand Mufti of Russia has asked God Almighty to grant martyr Nasrallah divine degrees.

Sheikh Ravil Ainuddin wrote: We are mourning for the hundreds of Lebanese victims of Israeli airstrikes in recent days.

He added: May the merciful God have mercy on the souls of our brothers who are victims of Israeli aggression and give them eternal reward.

The Israeli military campaign in southern Lebanon began on Monday, October 2. In a significant development, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Hezbollah resistance movement, was martyred during an Israeli air raid on Saturday.

Lebanon's Hezbollah through a statement, confirmed the assassination of the party's Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in the Israeli attack on Hezbollah's main headquarters in Dahieh, Beirut, on Friday night.
