(IP)- The Russian train, heading to Saudi Arabia, arrived at Abbas Port, Hormozgan province, Iran.

A train container with 31 wagons arrived at Sarakhs customs, northeastern Iran four days ago.

The train was sent from the Chelyabinsk province of Russia.

Russian train arrived at Abbas Port in southern Iran after traveling 1,610 kilometers by railway.

The cargo will be transported by ship from Iran to Saudi Arabia.

The north-South corridor appeared to be time-saving, which has reduced the time spent for Sarakhs to the Persian Gulf.
