Iran Press/ Europe: "This move by the Armenian leaders is regrettable," Russia’s top diplomat said, commenting on Yerevan’s decision to hold a joint military exercise with the United States.
Russia can see little good coming from NATO’s attempts to infiltrate into South Caucasus, Lavrov emphasized.
"Of course, we see little good from an aggressive NATO country trying to infiltrate into South Caucasus. I don’t think this is good for anyone, including Armenia itself," the foreign minister said, taking a question from TASS.
On Wednesday, the Armenian Defense Ministry announced that the South Caucasus country will host a joint military exercise, Eagle Partner 2023, with the United States on September 11-20.
