Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking on Sunday in a meeting with the new ambassador of Bolivia to Tehran, Romina Guadalupe Perez Ramos while receiving her letter of credence, Iran’s President, Hassan Rouhani stressed the development of relations with the country in all fields of mutual interest.
“Our region and Latin America have long been facing issues, which we consider as having one root cause, and that is the interference and abuse by major powers,” Rouhani added.
“The Bolivians are a revolutionary nation who have always attempted to keep their independence,” noted the President.
“We deeply believe that any nation that stands up for its interests against aggressors will win, and history is a witness to this fact,” he continued.
On the two countries’ strategic and common goals at international communities, Rouhani said: “The two countries have always been alongside each other for realizing their goals, and will continue to do so.”
New Ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ivory Coast and Uzbekistan also had a meeting with Hassan Rouhani before leaving for their country of the mission.
The Iranian President wished them success in carrying out their responsibilities and called on them to introduce the potentials and capabilities of the country, as well as encourage investors and private sectors for the development of cooperation and relations.
Kourosh Majidi and Hamid Nayyerabadi, ambassadors of Iran to Ivory Coast and Uzbekistan, also presented a report on relations between Iran and their country of the mission.
