Iran Press/Iran News: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, speeches this year will be mostly pre-recorded, with some delegates delivering live statements in the General Assembly Hall on behalf of their head of State or Government.
The annual gathering of world leaders has been relegated to a largely virtual format by the novel coronavirus pandemic and will feature a few of the sideline meetings that have made the assembly a signature event for the world’s diplomats.
