Tehran (IP) - Roham is the name of the first Iranian Formula student-made car which was unveiled on Sunday. Roham was built at a cost of two billion tomans.

Iran PressIran News: At the unveiling ceremony, Amir Hossein Mirabadi, the head of the Presidential Center for International Science and Technology Interactions, answered the questions of journalists in a press conference.

In part of his speech, Mirabadi emphasized that the necessary support for such innovations is on the agenda.

He also said, with the efforts of Roham's production team, a world-class car should be produced in the coming years.

Raham is a four-cylinder car with a weight of 280 kg and power of 128 horsepower.

Roham is going to participate in the Italian student Formula One race in a month.

A Formula One car or F1 car is a single-seat, open-cockpit, open-wheel formula racing car with substantial front and rear wings, and an engine positioned behind the driver, intended to be used in competition at Formula One racing events.
