The Israeli regime's army has said that it has intercepted rockets fired from Lebanon after Israeli police attacked Palestinians inside Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Iran PressMiddle East: In the past days, the Zionist forces attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Palestinian pilgrims who came to the Al-Aqsa Mosque for prayers were forced out of the Al-Salsalah gate by force of arms.

Following the rocket attacks of the resistance groups on the Zionist settlements around the Gaza Strip, which took place in response to the actions of the Zionists against the Palestinians in Al-Aqsa Mosque, alarm bells sounded in all these areas.

According to the media of the Zionist regime, the resistance forces also started shooting at the Zionist bases in the south of Ramallah, as a result of which an Israeli soldier was injured near Beit Amer in the north of Hebron.

Zionist sources also announced that at least 10 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at the settlements around the Gaza Strip. This is while the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the Zionist forces have arrested at least 200 Palestinians in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented the medical staff from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque to transport the injured.

Zionist soldiers and settlers kill or injure and arrest the oppressed people of Palestine under various pretexts every day; The Palestinians also carry out resistance operations in response to the crimes of the Zionists.

100 rockets in 10 minutes; Israeli shelters opened

Media report that a hundred rockets hit the occupied territories in northern Palestine, with the Israeli authorities calling for the opening of the shelters.

 

The alarms started to sound in the Israeli regime's settlements in northern Palestine, including in Shlomi and Moshav Betzet, on Thursday afternoon.

The rockets were fired as dozens of Zionist settlers attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, guided by Israeli soldiers, and clashed with Palestinian worshipers, especially women, and youth.

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army and the Head of the Israel Security Agency Shabak, held a meeting to gauge the condition after the missile attack on the Israeli settlements in the northern part of Palestine. 

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) invited all sides involved in the conflict to restrain from actions bringing further tension.  

The spokesman of the Israeli army says the missiles have been fired from Gaza and Lebanon but the only side carrying the operation is Hamas. 

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is to hold an urgent meeting this Saturday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to address the Israeli regime's attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian people.
