Iran Press/ Iran News: Iranian Army Chief Commander Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi made the remarks Tuesday at the 32nd meeting of pioneers of 'jihad and martyrdom', held in Tehran on September 24, saying: "Eight years unequal war ended with the victory of Islamic Republic of Iran due to the resistance of Iranian people and soldiers, and the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA)."
He added that developing the military industries is due to those tough days of war and sacred defence.
Referring to the 8-year Ba’athist Iraqi imposed war against Iran, Major General Mousavi highlighted: "The big lesson of Sacred Defence is resistance which has become a culture now".
Iran's army top commander mentioned that the victory of Yemeni people shows the effect of resistance policy.
He remarked that the other lesson of sacred defence is to know the values of the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and unity.
