Iran Press/Middle East: Criticizing the Zionist regime's continued occupation, Saeb Erekat, secretary-general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), said on Friday that the international community should take practical steps to condemn the Israeli occupation.
Stating that the continuation and consolidation of the occupation have increased the legal, political and moral responsibility of the international community, Erekat added that the formation of an independent Palestinian state is the end of the Israeli occupation.
The PLO's official said that despite many efforts to destroy the national existence of Palestine, political leaders and Palestinian groups and nation with unity and solidarity thwarted the Zionist enemy.
