Morocco (IP) – The rescue and relief forces are still removing the debris from the earthquake that jolted some parts of Morocco.

Iran PressAfrica:  A powerful 6.8 magnitude earthquake has shocked Morocco. The country’s geophysical center said the quake struck in the Ighil area of the High Atlas.

The horrible earthquake has so far left more than 2,000 people dead, and the number is increasing as the removal of the debris is going on. 

Extending his condolences to the Moroccan government and nation, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in an X post on Saturday evening that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide services to the survivors of the earthquake in Morocco. 

The Iranian Red Crescent Society has announced its readiness to offer help to the quake-hit people of Morocco.
