Tehran (IP) - Iran's President said that elections in the Islamic Republic have no losers and that it makes no difference who wins the votes.

Iran PressIran news: Casting his vote in the ballot box for the parliamentary elections on Friday, Ebrahim Raisi said in an interview that the winners of the elections filed are both the voters and the candidates since they fulfilled their duties. 

Raisi said the elections in Iran are different from what is held in other countries in that both candidates and voters act based on their duty which is to run a passionate election. 

Calling the elections an achievement of the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian president noted that the different sections of Iran are formed through the people's vote. 

The parliamentary election process officially kicked off across Iran so that people cast their votes to send their representatives to the new round of the parliament.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei cast his vote in the ballot box for the 12th round of the Iranian Parliamentary elections, early morning on Friday. 

Today, March 1, 2024, the Iranian people go to the ballot boxes to elect their representatives in the parliament. 

The parliament to be formed is the 12th one in the Islamic Republic's history after the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
