Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the second international conference on Quds Day called "Freedom of Palestine, the duty of the Islamic Ummah", Abdul Salam Karimi said: "One of the reasons for the importance of the holy month of Ramadan is that the Holy Quran was revealed in this month."
He emphasized: "Islam must be explained in such a way that it can be rationally defended. Most of our problems are due to not being properly explained, while our religion is the religion of rationality and science."
Karimi stated: "We must create a sense of responsibility in the society and defend the oppressed."
Emphasizing Palestine as the first issue of the Islamic world, he said: "If we want to forget Quds, we must also forget Kaaba because the enemy does not give up."
He added: "The enemies want to divide Iran like some other countries, and in this regard, we have recently witnessed activities in the country, including the value of women, so we must clarify and explain in this field."
