IP - Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met Tuesday at his office with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is visiting the country.

Iran Press/ West Asia: During the meeting, they discussed means of cooperation between the two countries to advance immediate ceasefire in the Palestinian territories, protect civilians, and prevent the expansion of violence and conflict in the region, which will have dire consequences for everyone.

The two sides considered the situation in the region explosive due to the war in Gaza and stressed the need to continue joint efforts to stop the brutal military attacks of the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza and end the war crimes of the Zionists, as well as to break the inhumane siege against Gaza and send humanitarian aid immediately.
