Tehran (IP) - A number of Iran's lawmakers expressed their approvals regarding the proposed Minister of Information and Communication Technology.

Iran PressIran News: Lawmakers Malek Shariati Niasar and Mostafa Taheri supported the proposed minister for his expertise in both IT and ICT fields and called him the symbol of a young cabinet. 

Mojtaba Mahfouzi pointed to the proposed minister's contributions in the development of electronic services in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance as well as the law to preserve the rights of software developers.

Mojtaba Yousefi, another lawmaker, also highlighted the relevant expertise and educations of the proposed minister of ICT Issa Zarepour. 

The parliament's Commission of Industry and Mines and Commission of Culture also approved Zarepour.

Chaired by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran's parliament started reviewing the qualification of the proposed ministers of the new administration on Sunday morning by examining the competence of the proposed Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Issa Zarepour.
