Iran Press/ America: On Tuesday, protesters marched through parts of midtown Manhattan, stopping in front of AIPAC’s Third Avenue offices.
IPAC is a lobbying group representing pro-Israel interests in the US and is often the target of critics of the country’s policies.
During Israel’s current bombing of the besieged Gaza Strip, AIPAC has defended the military intervention, claiming that Hamas uses civilians as “human shields.”
According to the Palestinian health officials in Gaza said that at least 213 people have been killed and more than 1,400 injured inside the Gaza Strip since the start of Israeli strikes on May 10.
At least 12 people have been reported killed inside Israel after resistant groups in Gaza began firing thousands of rockets in response to the Israeli attacks.
