Iran Presidential Election 2024:

Tehran (IP) - Hossein Ghazizadeh, a contender in Iran's upcoming presidential election, has proposed a solution to the country's economic woes: increased trade with neighboring nations.

Iran PressIran news: Ghazizadeh believes that Iran's economy requires a market of 400 million people to achieve competitiveness and thrive.

He advocates for strengthening the private sector and reviving the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to facilitate trade with Muslim countries and Russia.

The presidential candidate suggests that Iran can benefit from joint production agreements with countries like Syria, Iraq, and Turkey, which have more developed markets and infrastructure.

"There is no reason why we should only produce cars domestically," Ghazizadeh said. "We can work together with these countries to produce cars, leveraging their strengths and our own."

Ghazizadeh emphasizes that developing the trade market is crucial to playing complementary roles and addressing Iran's economic challenges.
