Tehran (IP) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has officially submitted the first part of the next Iranian year (1404)'s national budget bill to the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) during a public session on Wednesday.

Iran PressIran news: During the session, President Pezeshkian provided an overview of the key features of the budget proposal before handing it over to Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. This marks the second budget to be proposed following the approval and implementation of the Seventh Development Plan.

In accordance with Article 182 of the revised parliamentary bylaws, the first section of the 1404 budget bill presented today includes the general provisions required for the implementation of the national budget. This part outlines the projected revenues and the sale of capital and financial assets, as well as the estimated budget expenditures.

The second section of the budget, which will contain detailed budget tables and figures, is expected to be submitted to Parliament within 10 days after the first part's review.
