Tehran(IP) - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran will attend the emergency Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran press; Mohammad Jamshidi, Deputy Chief of Staff for Political Affairs to I.R. Iran President, wrote on the X, referring to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi's meeting with the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the sidelines of the 16thECO Summit in Uzbekistan.

He added: "Meeting with President Erdogan on the sideline of the ECO Summit, Raisi assessed a high danger of conflict expansion if the Riyadh meeting doesn't help save Gazans. Islamic nations will conclude that states are unable to help."

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's trip to Saudi Arabia will mark the first visit by an Iranian head of state to Saudi Arabia since Tehran and Riyadh ended years of hostility under a China-brokered deal in March.
