Nairobi (IP) - Finishing his visit to Kenya, Iran's President left Nairobi for Kampala, the capital of Uganda, on Wednesday evening.

President Yoweri Musoni graciously invited President Raisi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda provided a welcome upon his arrival at Entebbe International Airport. 

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran will receive an official welcome from Yoweri Musoni, the President of Uganda, at the Presidential Palace of Uganda.

The Iranian President, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, traveled to Africa on Wednesday morning. This visit was made in direct response to official invitations from the presidents of Kenya, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya on Wednesday morning and was received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua.

During his visit to Kenya, Ebrahim Raisi met with his Kenyan counterpart William Ruto, with the high-ranking delegations of the two countries signing five important cooperation agreements.

Visiting Iran's House of Innovation and Technology in Nairobi and meeting with Iranian and Kenyan businessmen were among Raisi's programs on the trip to Kenya.
