Raisi emphasized the importance of adhering to the noble teachings of Islam, which would enable Muslim nations to tread the path of dignity and excellence on the international stage.
The Iranian president said, "Eid al-Adha epitomizes the purest forms of worship and devotion to divine commands."
Known as the "Feast of Sacrifice," the revered observance coincides with the final rites of the annual Hajj.
Eid al-Adha commemorates Prophet Ebrahim's willingness to sacrifice Ismail in obedience to God.
The event is celebrated on two different days, depending on lunar sightings.
