Iran Press/ Europe: Italy's economic crisis over the past decade has led to an increase in the number of homeless people living in central train stations and on sidewalks.
The number of the absolute poor people in Italy, announced at 5 million before the coronavirus outbreak, is now close to 6 million, according to ISTAT.
According to a survey conducted by major charities in Italy, the number of needy people who come to these institutions to receive food packages has increased to more than 4 million people.
