Iran Press/ Iran News: General Mohammad Ghanbari stated on Thursday that the police of Iranshahr, Nikshahr and Saravan cities had discovered 2,220 kilograms of narcotic drugs along with three weapons and several cartridges after an armed conflict with the smugglers.
Seizing more than 1,000 tons of narcotics despite the harshest sanctions, the Islamic Republic of Iran had the highest rate of narcotics discoveries in the world last Iranian year.
The United Nations has named Iran as the flag bearer in the fight against drugs.
