Iran Press/Iran news: The people of Birjand, the capital of South Khorasan province took to the streets on Saturday to voice their support for Iran's authority and security.
Like the other cities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, people of Birjand rallied to slam the recent riots by chanting "Khamenei is our Leader, till the very last drop of our blood," "Down with the United States," and "Down with Israel."
The petrol price increase has prompted peaceful protests in Tehran and some other Iranian cities, with people expressing concern about the rising price of fuel and gasoline in Iran.
However, gangs of rioters infiltrated into people's peaceful protests and caused damage to public transportation and public property, including attacks on banks, shops, ambulances, and emergencies. The rioters are backed by the United States, the Israeli regime, and their cohorts.
