Iran Press/ Iran news: Alavian dome is one of the masterpieces of architecture and stucco of the Seljuq dynasty and is listed in the Iran National Heritage List.
The monument was originally built as a mosque, and after the construction of a cellar below it was used as a tomb for some of the Alawites.
The walls and arches of the interior of the Alavian dome have been decorated with many stucco decorations and various geometric designs. The roof of this monument is beautifully decorated from inside with wood.
The Mihrab of Alavian dome is also a beautiful example of Islamic-Iranian architecture, decorated with different inscriptions and Quranic verses.
Dating back to about 900 years ago, Alavian dome is one of the tourist attractions of Hamedan province. 104/207
