Iran Press/ Iran news: Director-General of Hormozgan Province Ports and Maritime Organization Alireza Mohammadi Karajiran on Tuesday stated: "Out of the above number of ships, 205 ships with a tonnage of more than 11 million tons have been unloaded, loaded, and cabotage rights granted."
According to Mohammadi Karajiran, one million and 57,000 tons of petroleum products were exported by 293 ships in the last five months.
The official went on to say: "Despite the imposition of sanctions, specifically in the field of maritime transport and export of petroleum products, Iran has not only had a decline in the field of export of petroleum products, but the statistics show a 6% growth in this sector.
With an annual loading and unloading capacity of 100 million tons of goods, Shahid Rajaee Port Complex in southern Iran is the largest and main port for trade in the country.
