Iran Press/ Asia: On the first day of the conference, the participants stressed the promotion of the Persian language among the students interested in the language, to shore up the economic' political, cultural, and social relations among the countries.
The lecturers at the conference noted that learning the Persian language among the nations of the world, especially among the elites, leads to further convergence among the nations loving the language.
The enhancement of Persian language knowledge and experience exchange between Iranologists and Persian speakers are the main goals of the international event.
A number of the participants told Iran Press that they are calling for preparing the grounds for the scholars' and students' trips to different cities of Iran and have talks with Iranian literature professors and poets.
The Chancellor of Slavonakan University of Orientalist Studies Garnik Asatryan and the Persian language teacher Hripsime Torosyan at the Orientalist Institute in Armenia elaborated on the significance of the conference in an interview with Iran Press.
The International Conference of Iranologists and Persian Speakers kicked off on Tuesday and will be underway for three days.
