Iran Press/Iran news: Hundreds of thousands of people in Sari the capital of the northern Mazandaran province, took to the streets to commemorate Lieutenant General Soleimani and his companions' on Thursday.
Furthermore, earlier on Thursday, the commemoration ceremony of martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and Iraq’s PMF deputy commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and their companions began in the presence of Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, heads of the three branches of government, Iranian officials and the general public in the Hussainiah of Imam Khomeini.
The Commander of Iran's Quds Force Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and Iraq’s Deputy Commander of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated by the US terrorist forces at Baghdad airport in the early hours of Friday morning 3 January.
