Iran Press/Asia: Security forces gunned down eight terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Razmak, North Waziristan district, late Wednesday night.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces also recovered arms and ammunition from the slain terrorists, who had been involved in different terrorist activities against security forces and innocent civilians.
During the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between Pakistani troops and terrorist elements, as a result of which, eight terrorists were eliminated.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians. Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
