Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Health spokeswoman announced on Thursday that 1,550,142 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,324,231 recovered.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 18, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,066 cases out of whom 578 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 80 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 59,264.

3,679 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 10,274,529 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 11 cities are in red, 39 in orange, 228 are in yellow, and 172 are in the blue zones. 101
