Tehran (IP) - Iran's Deputy Health Minister Alireza Raisi said that the Health Ministry's motto is still "Stay at Home" to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Iran PressIran News: In response to Iran Press correspondent, Alireza Raisi stated that in the medical field especially prevention, protocols are just instructive.

"They themselves cannot halt or contain the disease but when implemented," he added.

Iran's Deputy Health Minister referred to the great cooperation of people during the New Year holidays, especially their cooperation to stay inside their homes on April 07 which is called "Nature Day".

"Iran is still in its first phase combating the virus. Protocols are important but people play a greater role than them by implementing the rules and health protocols" Raisi stressed.

Iran's deputy Health Minister also mentioned that places, where to provide people's basic amenities, have not been shot down.

He went on to say: "Our motto is still "Stay at Home" and the other motto to add is while outside home following the hygienic rules to be immunized and protected is necessary."
