Iran Press/Iran news: The chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh has said US secretary of state Mike Pompeo was an intelligence officer before becoming a diplomat and thus he knows about psychological warfare.
Pompeo’s plans to counter Iran didn’t yield the required results in the United States and now he is trying to pursue them in other countries such as Poland, Falahatpisheh added, IRNA reported.
The senior MP went on to urge the foreign ministry to summon the ambassadors of those countries who are involved in such hostile gatherings and to issue a warning to them.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also reacted to the news, writing in a tweet that the conference is a ‘desperate circus’, reminding the host and participants that “those who attended last US anti-Iran show are either dead, disgraced, or marginalized. And Iran is stronger than ever.”

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that the United States would hold an international summit in Poland on 13 - 14 February to discuss cooperation on achieving stability and security in the Middle East. He emphasized that the participants would also focus on ways to make sure Iran was not a "destabilizing influence" in the region.
Asian, African, European, and Middle Eastern states are expected to participate in the summit.
