Iran Press/ West Asia: The second phase of the Aleppo power plant has been launched by the Iranian company MAPNA.
The Iran Power Plants Management Company (MAPNA) was founded in February 1993 by Tavanir, IDRO, and Saba Investment Co. to manage power projects.
This phase of the Aleppo power plant has played an influential role in Syria's energy security.
Emphasizing power plants' role in flourishing the economy and vital industries, Navab Nouri, Consul General of Iran in Aleppo said that when power plants start to work, many industries like agriculture also begin to become fruitful as the Islamic Republic of Iran has made its priority to invest on powerplants.
He also said that Aleppo in Syria is the most densely populated area in this country and we are happy to choose Aleppo for this matter.
