Iran Press/Middle East: Speaking at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on Monday evening, the Omani foreign minister Yusuf Bin Alawi said: "Establishing a sovereign Palestinian state is a prerequisite for any normalization or establishment of any future relations between the Arab countries and Israel. This is the basis of the positions, decisions, and meetings of the Arab countries," Iran Press reported.
Bin Alawi also denied any negotiations have taken place with Israeli officials, on behalf of other countries, saying that the process of finishing 'big games' in the region has already begun!
Meanwhile, Bin Alavi called the current contacts between the two sides 'a peaceful process for a solution to the Palestinian issue', which he said 'guarantees the rights of the Palestinians'.
Oman backs Syria's return to the Arab League
The Omani Foreign Minister also emphasized the need for Syria's return to the Arab League and accused some Arab countries of creating obstacles in the way of Syria joining the Arab League.
Now, with the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's victory over the terrorists and the failure of the Arab-Western plot in the country, the Arab League and many Arab and regional countries are trying to reestablish their relations with the Syrian government and to reopen their embassies in Damascus. 103/211/213
